GROUP BOOKING FAQ
What if our group doesn’t meet the group booking sizes?
Not to worry – OWL Rafting has a group name field you can use while booking – if you use the group name field we will do our best to ensure you raft together with your friends, however no guarantee can be made if you don’t book as one group at the same time.
What if someone wants to come but can’t confirm yet?
This is really a question about our cancellation policy. It is easier to add to a group then it is to drop participants, however, you do run the risk that there may not be spots left to add to.
What happens when a rafting trip fills up?
With enough notice we can open another trip time slot to accommodate your group – we may be able to move the group to the new time slot to allow more rafters to add on.
Youth Group – Resort Access & Supervision Policy
OWL Rafting is a whitewater rafting resort – we do not provide youth supervision outside of the rafting trips. OWL requires that a minimum of 1 adult per raft is booked into rafting bookings.
Unless a booking pays for exclusive access to the resort, guests should expect to share the space with other groups.
OWL requires that all visitors treat staff and other guests with respect. This includes respecting the quiet hours of 11PM Sunday-Thursday & 1 AM Friday & Saturday.
Group size does not determine priority or exclusive use of resort amenities. All guests are entitled to shared access, and no group may restrict others from using any amenity, including but not limited to; the campgrounds, pavilion, fire pits, beach equipment, showers, sinks, and washrooms.
Please note that the beachfront is unsupervised, if a group opts to allow youth to enter the water we require the group to have an adult present as a supervisor.
OWL Rafting is able to offer a nut free experience with advanced notice and a $3/person surcharge.
What does the $3 include?
- Replacement of the trip snack with a certified nut free option
- Menus will be adjusted to ensure peanut butter is not present during the preparation or serving
It is important to note that OWL Rafting is not a nut free facility. We can accommodate a nut free experience for large groups with advanced notice.
